|
Mast Boot Tape is used in applications where no suitable
Mast Boot is available, or in conjunction with a
Universal Mast Boot.
While not as durable or long-lasting as a real Mast Boot, Mast Boot Tape is waterproof
and offers the adaptability to fit almost any application and can be installed while the
Mast is up. It must be replaced every time the Mast is unstepped.
As these tapes are not particularly chafe-resistant, a fabric cover or
Universal Mast Boot is recommended.

| White Mast Boot Tape | |
|
White Mast Boot Tape is self-amalgamating, that is it will adhere to itself after being stretched.
This Light-duty Mast Boot Tape is 4" (102mm) wide x .5mm thick (unstretched), and, as it is
relatively thin, several layers are recommended to help keep sharp edges and corners from breaking through.
White Mast Boot Tape is easy to install and does not include a liner as the self-amalgamating
feature is not activated until it is stretched. Tape is easily removed with a knife or razor,
and leaves no sticky residue.

Mast Boot Tape, White - 4" wide x 40": MBT W4-40:
Mast Boot Tape, White - 4" wide x 100": MBT W4-100: Light-duty White Mast Boot Tape is available in 40" (1M) and 100" (2.5M) lengths. The 40" length is suitable for most boats up to 33', use the 100" length for larger boats.

Heavy-duty Black Rubber Mast Boot Tape is 'super' self-amalgamating - it will adhere to itself
without being stretched, so it comes with a paper liner which keeps it from sticking to itself before
usage. This Heavy-duty Mast Boot Tape is 5" (127mm) wide x 2mm thick (unstretched), and will
bond itself into a solid piece of Rubber after installation.
Heavy-duty Mast Boot Tape is very flexible, conforming to virtually any contour.
Tape can be cut with scissors, is easy to install and is easily removed with a knife or razor.

Mast Boot Tape, Heavy-duty Black - 5" wide x 48": MBT B5-48:
Mast Boot Tape, Heavy-duty Black - 5" wide x 72": MBT B5-72: Heavy-duty Black Rubber Mast Boot Tape is available in 4' (1.22M) and 6' (1.82M) lengths. The 4' length is suitable for most boats up to 40', the 6' length is suitable for most boats up to 60'.
