Rig-Rite stocks a variety of 'standard' and undrilled (Blank) Backing Plates for Stanchion
and Rail Bases (or anything else), allowing for a more secure installation in any application.
Standard Backing Plates match the shape and size of their respective Stanchion Bases. Round Blank Backing Plates (or Base Plates) are also used in a variety of other applications. Custom Backing Plates are available on Special Order, Please provide complete specifications. |

Standard (non-Round) Backing Plates A variety of Backing Plates in SS or Aluminum are available in drilled or Blank format to fit all Standard Stanchion Bases. These units are also suitable for welded applications. |

Blank Aluminum Backing Plate, 4.5" x 3.5": SB 36-BPA:
Blank (undrilled) Aluminum Backing Plate is 4 1/2" long x 3 1/2" wide x 1/8" thick. Rectangular 6061-T6 Aluminum Plate can easily be drilled to match most Stanchion Bases.

Blank (undrilled) Stainless Steel Backing Plate is 4 3/8" long x 3 1/2" wide x .104" thick (12 gauge). Rectangular Type 304 SS Plate can be drilled to match most Stanchion Bases.
