To order: Specify maximum length from inboard end to shroud bearing surface (MTW), spreader base configuration, and finish.

SP-165 Tapered Spreader Tip - Twist-lock: SP-165TL: Special 'twist-lock' spreader tip for spreader tapered to 2 3/4" features slot for up to 3/8" shroud. Shroud is secured without seizing wire, by inserting it horizontally into Spreader Tip and then 'twisting' it to lie in line with the mast. Tip measures 2 3/4" x 1", and extends shroud seat 1/2" beyond spreader tube. Cast aluminum Spreader Tip has uncoated Aluminum finish for use in welded applications.

SP-165 Tapered Spreader Tip - Slotted: SP-512TS:
Slotted Spreader Tip for spreader tapered to 1 3/4" features slot for up to 3/8" shroud. Shroud is secured with 3/16" FH screw. Tip measures 1 3/4" wide x 2 1/4" long x (maximum) 7/8" thick, and extends shroud seat 1 1/4" beyond spreader tube, portion inside spreader is 1 1/2" long. Cast aluminum Spreader Tip has uncoated Aluminum finish for use in welded applications. As used on a variety of C&C Yachts, Hinterhoeller Yachts and others, and used with other Spreader Sections.

Pin center is 1 3/8" beyond spreader tube, 3/8" Pin, K-CP6-54, is included.
Tip has uncoated Aluminum finish for use in welded applications.

Unit features wide slot (1 1/8" x 1 1/8" deep to Pin center) with horizontal pin for attaching Rod fork
and link tangs. Spreader Tip is 2" wide x 1 3/8" high and extends 2 1/4" beyond spreader tube.
Pin center is 1 1/2" beyond spreader tube, 7/16" Pin, K-CP7-64, is included.

Tapered Aluminum plate is 3/8" thick x (maximum) 6 1/4" wide x 5 1/2" long, and features integral etch lines to line up with centerline and end of SP450 Spreader. Mounts to mast with (2) 3/8" holes on 4 3/4" centers, holes are 3/4" from end of plate. Plate has uncoated Aluminum finish.

Cast aluminum Spreader Base for CD-5 Mast Section fits flush with
the mast surface and attaches with (4) 1/4" FH screws and a 1/2" bolt. Unique and sleek design allows
for use of the same 1/2" bolt as an attachment point for a lower shroud tang Bearing Plate
(SP-11216-S1), which fits under the
Spreader Base. Commonly used with Double Lower Shroud Tang Set
(SP-753K).
Base is (maximum) 6 3/8" long x 3 5/8" high.

and on MetalMast 8348T (8.30" x 4.81") Teardrop Mast Section with SP-165 Spreaders.
Spreader fits over male stud on Base, Teardrop shaped Base is 6" wide x 3 1/4" high.
Normally attaches to Mast with (6) 1/4" RH screws, but due to mounting variations castings are supplied raw,
without holes for fasteners. As used on Pearson 10M, 365, 386, and others.

SS Spreader Base w/ 3/8" Pin, Star. Aft: SS 8755SBS-6SA: Stainless Steel Spreader Bases used on Sound Spar 8755, and other Mast Sections, with SP-165, SP-512, and other Spreaders using a 1/4" or 5/16" thick Inboard Spreader End Plate, similar to K-11480-5SL, above. SS Rectangular Base is 2 1/2" high x 2 3/16" wide, and attaches to Mast with (4) 1/4" RH screws on 1 3/4" (vertical) x 1 1/2" (horizontal) centers. Spreader Inboard End is attached to Base with a 3/8" clevis pin (included). Bases are used in pairs, with a Port Aft and a Starboard Aft version on each side of the Mast.
