Z-Spar Z480 Boom Components
*Boom Feeder Entrance: Z-1711:* Gray plastic sail feeder entrance for boltrope mounts in recess in Z-Spar gooseneck castings.
Z480 Gooseneck Assembly - Standard - Complete: Z-480-1AC: Cast aluminum Gooseneck Assembly incorporates provisions for internal outhaul and 3 internal reef lines. In Standard configuration internal lines run over delrin sheaves and down past lever action cams. Cams can be removed to allow lines to go straight down to the deck. Gooseneck will accept a Toggle up to 1 1/4" (32mm) wide. Normally used with the Z-4010 Gooseneck Toggle, below, but also fits a variety of Gooseneck Toggles using a 10mm (3/8") horizontal pin (included). This Gooseneck Assembly can also be configured in several other ways, Casting has provisions to run lines up to the sail, as well as down to the deck, 2 different Sheave sizes are used depending on configuration.
	Z480 Gooseneck Casting only: Z-480-1: Replacement Casting only, as *Z480-1AC*, above, but without sheaves, cams, axles, and horizontal gooseneck pin. a4011
	Z480 Horizontal Gooseneck Toggle Pin: Z-5902: SS Clevis Pin is 10mm (3/8") diameter x 55mm (2 1/8") long. Connects Gooseneck Casting to Gooseneck Toggle. In some applications a 10mm (3/8") diameter x 70mm SS Bolt with locknut is used instead.
	Z480 Small Gooseneck Sheave: Z-1617: Delrin Sheave is 35mm (1 3/8") OD x 15mm (<5/8") wide x 8mm (5/16") ID. For outhaul and reef lines.
	Z480 Small Gooseneck Sheave - Aluminum: Z-1617: Heavy-duty Aluminum Sheave is 35mm (1 3/8") OD x 16mm (5/8") wide x 8mm (5/16") ID. For outhaul and reef lines.
	Z480 Large Gooseneck Sheave: Z-1618: Delrin Sheave is 60mm (2 3/8") OD x 16mm (5/8") wide x 8mm (5/16") ID. For outhaul and reef lines.
	Z480 Large Gooseneck Sheave - Aluminum: Z-1767A: Heavy-duty Aluminum Sheave is 60mm (2 3/8") OD x 16mm (5/8") wide x 8mm (5/16") ID. For outhaul and reef lines.
	Z480 Gooseneck Cam: Z-1076: Gooseneck cam lever used in Z-480 goosenecks for outhaul and reef lines. Cam measures (maximum) 1 7/8" long x 9/16" wide, with 8mm (5/16") hole for cam axle.
	Z480 Gooseneck Sheave & Cam Axle: Z-5811: Knurled SS Axle used in Z-480 goosenecks for Sheaves and Cams. SS Sheave Axle pin is 8mm (5/16") dia. x 96mm (3 3/4") long.
Gooseneck Toggle: Z-4010: Cast aluminum Gooseneck Toggle for use with Z480 standard Gooseneck is 1 1/4" (31mm) wide. Toggle has holes for a 12mm vertical pin, a 10mm horizontal pin, with a 6mm hole for special wide Tack Shackle, Z-4010TS, and can be used with Z-4010RH double Reef Hook, below. Portion that fits in Gooseneck Bracket is 3" (75mm) high, Toggle (overall) measures 4 5/8" (118mm) vertical x 3 3/8" (87mm) horizontal (maximum) x 1 1/4" (31mm) wide.
Wide Tack Shackle: Z-4010TS: Special Wide Tack Shackle to fit the Z-4010 Gooseneck Toggle. Wide SS Shackle has 6mm (1/4") slotted screw pin, inside of Shackle is 33mm (1 5/16") wide x 33mm (1 5/16") deep. FMTS
*Reef Hook Assembly: Z-4010RH:* SS Double Reef Hook Assembly for use with Z-4010 Gooseneck Toggle. Double Reef Hook Assembly is formed from 10mm rod and measures (maximum) 5" (125mm) wide x 4" (100mm) high. Specially formed Reef Hook slides into center slot in Toggle, and is held in place by vertical Toggle Pin.

*Boom Bail Assembly - 30mm: Z-3045A:* SS Articulating Boom Bail fits in integral track in underside of Z360, Z480, and other boom sections with a 30mm (1 3/16") wide track. Bail is made from 10mm rod. Formed plate is 2.5mm thick and measures 4 3/4" (120mm) long x 1 3/16" (30mm) wide. Fastens with (2) 3/16" rivets.
*Boom Bail Assembly - 30mm Heavy-duty: Z-3045AF:* Welded SS Boom Bail fits in integral track in underside of Z360, Z480, and other boom sections with a 30mm (1 3/16") wide track. As Z-3045A (above), but bail is welded in position and does not articulate. Formed plate is 2.5mm thick and measures 4 3/4" (120mm) long x 1 3/16" (30mm) wide. Fastens with (2) 3/16" (5mm) rivets.
Boom Bail Assembly w/ Toggle - 30mm: Z-3047A: SS Boom Bail features SS Toggle Assembly with 10mm (3/8") clevis pin and fits in integral track in underside of Z360, Z480, and other boom sections with a 30mm wide track. Formed plate is 2.5mm thick and measures 4 3/4" (120mm) long x 1 3/16" (30mm) wide. Fastens with (2) 3/16" rivets. For use with Boom Vangs requiring a pin for attachment.
*Spar Cleat – Aluminum - 4 5/8": Z-1145:* Aluminum Spar Cleat is 120mm (4 5/8") long, and fastens with (2) 5mm (3/16") fasteners on 30mm (1 3/16") hole centers. Installed in the factory with a special deep-nosed rivet tool, can also be installed with machine screws. Other sizes are commonly used, See Other Z-Spar Cleats.
Exit Plate – Plastic, Small: Z-3273: Small Gray plastic Exit Plate reduces line chafe, and accommodates a maximum of 3/8" (10mm) line. Exit Plate measures 4 1/2" x 7/8" (115mm x 22mm), installs in cut-out 5/8" x 3 5/8" (16mm x 90mm), and is attached with (1) 5mm (3/16") fastener. *Z480 Outhaul Assembly - Standard - Complete: Z-480-2A:* Cast aluminum Outhaul Assembly incorporates provisions for internal outhaul and 3 internal reef lines. Includes 4 Sheaves (Z-1618) and axle which slide in from the aft side simultaneously, and are held in place by the outhaul and/or reef lines. Rib on aft upper side has 8mm (5/16") pin hole for topping lift shackle.
	Z480 Outhaul Casting: Z-480-2: Replacement Casting only, for the Z-480 Outhaul Assembly. Note: This is one of many different units that may be labeled 1070. a68

	Z480 Outboard Sheave - Aluminum: Z-1767A: Heavy-duty Aluminum Sheave is 60mm (2 3/8") OD x 16mm (5/8") wide x 8mm (5/16") ID. For outhaul and reef lines.
	Z480 Outboard Sheave Axle: Z-1296: SS Sheave Axle used in Z480 Outhaul Casting. SS ’Drop-in’ Sheave Axle pin is 8mm (5/16") dia. x 80mm (3 1/8") long. For outhaul and reef sheaves.
*Z480 Outhaul Assembly - for Furling Main - Complete: Z-480-2FA:* Cast aluminum Outhaul Assembly is similar to Z-480-2A, above, but incorporates a single sheave only for outhaul line on centerline. Sheave is contained in special cast housing, Sheave and housing slide into main Outhaul Casting from the aft side. Removable Sheave housing has 8mm (5/16") pin hole for topping lift shackle.
