Zspar Mast Base Turning Blocks


Blocks with Studs for New-Style Steps and Collars Block Studs Only

Blocks with Studs for New-Style Steps & Collars Gray plastic Blocks with SS straps and acetyl sheaves are specially designed to attach to all New-Style Z-Spar Mast Steps and Deck Collars. Blocks incorporate an 8mm or 10mm SS stud, threaded on the end, and include special Nut. SS Nut slides into recess in side of deck casting and block screws in through hole in top. Acetyl sheave will accommodate wire or rope halyards. All Blocks allow full articulation. Threaded Block Studs are available separately (below) for use with other blocks or attachments.
*Mast Base Turning Block w/ 45mm Sheave: Z-261:* Block with 1 3/4" (45mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 7/16" (12mm) diameter. Includes 8mm stud with nut to fit deck castings with 8mm holes (5/16") and 1/2" (13mm) wide slots for nuts.
*Mast Base Turning Block w/ 60mm Sheave & Small Stud: Z-272:* Block with 2 3/8" (60mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 1/2" (14mm) diameter. Includes 8mm stud with nut to fit deck castings with 8mm holes (5/16") and 1/2" (13mm) wide slots for nuts.
*Mast Base Turning Block w/ 60mm Sheave & Large Stud: Z-275:* Block with 2 3/8" (60mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 1/2" (14mm) diameter. Includes 10mm stud with nut to fit deck castings with 10mm (3/8") holes and 11/16" (17mm) wide slots for nuts.
*Mast Base Turning Block w/ 80mm Sheave: Z-288:* Block with 3 1/8" (80mm) diameter sheave will accommodate lines up to 5/8" (16mm) diameter. Includes 10mm stud with nut to fit deck castings with 10mm (3/8") holes and 11/16" (17mm) wide slots for nuts.

Swivel Blocks are available for special applications. For use only where the lead angle must change under load. The Standard (non-swiveling) versions, listed above, should be used where ever possible because they cannot accidentally unscrew once a line is reeved through them.

Block Studs Only Block Studs Only, to fit all Z-Spar Steps and Collars are available separately for use attaching items including shackles and other blocks. All Block Studs are Stainless Steel with an upper attachment hole.
Threaded Block Studs only for New-Style Steps & Collars Threaded Block Studs (with nuts) to fit New-Style Z-Spar Mast Steps and Deck Collars are available separately. For use attaching items including shackles and blocks not listed above. New-Style Block Studs have a threaded lower end to fit special Nut. Special SS nut (included) slides into recess in side of deck casting, Block Stud screws into nut through hole in top of deck casting. Units are the same as those used in the blocks above.
Block Stud - 8mm w/ 6mm Hole: Z-300SA: SS Block Stud with nut, to fit Z-Spar Steps and Collars with 8mm holes (5/16") and 1/2" (13mm) wide slots for nuts. SS nut slides into recess in side of deck casting and Block Stud screws in through hole in top. Stud is 38mm (1 1/2") long, top is (maximum) 12mm (15/32") wide with a 1/4" (6mm) hole for attachment of shackle or block. Lower end has an 8mm thread x 3/8" (10mm) long. Includes special large nut.

Block Stud - 10mm w/ 6mm Hole: Z-301SA: SS Block Stud with nut, to fit Z-Spar Steps and Collars with 10mm (3/8") holes and 11/16" (17mm) wide slots for nuts. SS nut slides into recess in side of deck casting and Block Stud screws in through hole in top. Stud is 40mm (1 5/8") long, top is (maximum) 12mm (15/32") wide with a 1/4" (6mm) hole for attachment of shackle or block. Lower end has a 10mm thread x 7/16" (12mm) long. Includes special large nut.
Block Stud - 10mm Heavy-Duty w/ 8mm Hole: Z-302SA: Heavy-Duty, Wide Block Stud with nut, to fit Z-Spar Steps and Collars with 10mm (3/8") holes and 11/16" (17mm) wide slots for nuts. SS nut slides into recess in side of deck casting and Block Stud screws in through hole in top. Stud is 40mm (1 5/8") long x 14mm (9/16") maximum diameter with a 5/16" (8mm) hole for attachment of shackle or block. Lower end has a 10mm thread x 3/8" (10mm) long. Includes special large nut.
Block Stud - 10mm w/ Narrow Toggle & 8mm Pin: Z-302TN: Block Stud Assembly with Narrow Toggle and nut, to fit Z-Spar Steps and Collars with 10mm (3/8") holes and 11/16" (17mm) wide slots for nuts. SS nut slides into recess in side of deck casting, Toggle screw threads in through hole in top. Articulating Narrow Toggle has an 18mm (11/16") ID, and an 8mm clevis pin.
Block Stud - 10mm w/ Wide Toggle & 8mm Pin: Z-302TW: Block Stud Assembly with Wide Toggle and nut, to fit Z-Spar Steps and Collars with 10mm (3/8") holes and 11/16" (17mm) wide slots for nuts. SS nut slides into recess in side of deck casting, Toggle screw threads in through hole in top. Articulating Wide Toggle has a 24mm (15/16") ID, and an 8mm clevis pin.
