Z-Spar Spinnaker Cars for Recirculating Ball Tracks

Some Z-Spar Masts have an Internal Track Receiver Slot on the forward side (approximately 7/8" (22mm) wide), which is designed for a special Z-Spar 25mm Recirculating Ball (RCB) Track. Normally a factory-installed option, the Mast must be down to install this special insert Track. While this special RCB Track is available for retrofit applications, we also offer a plastic *Track insert, Z-731P,* to fill the Track Receiver Slot, allowing the installation of standard T-Track. The Mast must be down to install this Track insert as well. Spinnaker Cars listed here are designed to fit on a variety of Recirculating Ball (RCB) Tracks, and are held in position on the track by means of a line control system. The use of these Ball-Bearing or Slide Rod Cars minimizes friction on the Track, allowing for greater ease of movement under load. All Cars include shackles or other attachments for Control Lines or Blocks. Ball-Bearing Cars are shipped on a short length of loading Track which keep the Ball-Bearings in place until Car is loaded on destination Track. Cars must not be removed from Track, as doing so will allow the Ball-Bearings to escape - rendering the Car inoperative as well as making a mess! Loading Track should be saved for future Car removal or service. Slide Rod Cars are like Ball-Bearing Cars, but with a solid plastic Rod in place of a row of Ball Bearings - eliminating service difficulties while still reducing friction. Ring Cars are used for Poles with standard Piston or Trigger pole ends, Pin, or Bell Cars are used to fit the variety of special inboard Spinnaker Pole Ends available. Spinnaker Cars for Z-Spar RCB Track
Some Z-Spar Masts are equipped with a Recirculating Ball (RCB) Track for Spinnaker Cars. This special track is notable in that it is Clear Anodized and has no holes, as it is attached to the Mast by sliding it into a special groove on the front of some Z-Spar Masts.

Spinnaker Cars for Z-Spar 25mm RCB Track Z-Spar 25mm Recirculating Ball (RCB) Track measures 1" (25.4mm) across the top. Cars for this Track use 6.4mm Ball Bearings, or slide rods of varying diameters and lengths.
Spinnaker Ring Car for Z-Spar 25mm RCB Track: Z-73R-25R: Extruded Aluminum Car with SS Ring for use on Z-Spar 25mm wide RCB Track. Car has Cast SS Ring assembly screwed to extruded Aluminum Body, 10mm SS ring has 1 13/16" (46.5mm) ID. Car rides on Delrin slide rods (not Ball Bearings), making it easy to install. Car is 4 3/4" (120mm) long x 2 3/8" (61mm) wide, and includes shackles for attachment of control lines. Suitable for spinnaker poles up to 70mm. 3008 R8.3x4
Spinnaker Car w/ Z-Spar Toggle for 25mm RCB Track: Z-73R-25ZT: Aluminum Spinnaker Car for use on Z-Spar 25mm wide RCB Track. Unit incorporates special Z-Spar Aluminum Toggle suitable for use only with Z-Spar Piston pole ends for Metric tubing. Car rides on Delrin slide rods (not Ball Bearings), making it easy to install. 	Toggle only for Z-Spar Spinnaker Poles: Z-73-ZNT: Narrow Cast Aluminum Toggle used with some Z-Spar Spinnaker Cars is suitable only for use with Z-Spar Spinnaker Pole Ends. Cast Toggle is 2 3/4" (68mm) high, and has hole for 12mm vertical Pin.
