| Mast Boots are used on
keel-stepped Rigs to help prevent water leakage where the Mast goes through the Deck. They
fit around the Mast and cover the Deck Collar and Mast Wedges. Mast Boots are designed to
be put on the mast prior to stepping. They can be installed on a stepped mast by making a
vertical cut on the aft side, which can be glued or taped over afterwards, but obviously
this method compromises its' integrity. See: Mast Boots.
Mast Boot Tape is used in applications where no suitable Mast Boot is available.
While not as durable or long-lasting as a real Mast Boot, Mast Boot Tape offers the
adaptability to fit almost any application and can be installed while the Mast is up, but must
be replaced every time the Mast is unstepped.

| 'Universal' Mast Boots | |
| Soft molded PVC Mast Boots are 'stepped' to fit a
wide range of Mast Sections. Simply cut the Boot at the smallest 'step' that will fit over
the Mast Section, and at the smallest 'step' that will fit over the Deck Collar. All
'Universal' Mast Boots come with a special cement for use in installing on stepped Masts.
