Reaching Strut Mast Fittings

On smaller boats Reaching Struts are usually attached to a fixed Mast Eye, or Ring, one on each side of the Mast, See Spinnaker Pole Mast Eyes.

On larger boats Reaching Struts usually use a variety of Brackets with Pins to fit the special inboard ends available. Listed below are Reaching Strut Mast Fittings for use with Forespar TS Pin Pole Ends and Sparcraft Bayonet Pin Pole Ends.

On some larger Racing and Cruising yachts Reaching Struts will be attached to a Track-mounted Car, normally used for a Whisker Pole, on each side of the Mast, See: Spinnaker Cars.

Reaching Strut Mast Brackets for Forespar TS Ends

	*Sparcraft Type 2 Toggle only: SC 73-12T2:* Replacement Sparcraft Toggle (Type 2) fits Sparcraft Bayonet Pin and Spinnaker Cars (and Brackets) with a 1/2" vertical Pin and clearance for a 1 3/16" Toggle. Stainless Steel Toggle is 1 3/16" high x 1 3/8" wide with holes for 1/2" Pins, and measures 1 5/8" between Pin centers. Horizontal (1/2") Pin is included.
