CD-3 Mast Section - Clear Anodized: SP-XCD3CA-___:
Spartan CD-3 Section Mast Tube is stocked in a variety of lengths (listed above)
fully anodized, it can also be cut to shorter lengths. To order, specify length.
Sections can also be milled for the sailgate or
other components, painted finishes and other lengths are available on special order,

Listed below are parts specific to
the Spartan CD-3 Mast Section. All CD-3 Cast Aluminum Mast Components are standard with a
clear anodized finish for maximum corrosion resistance and greater longevity. Other
finishes available on special order.
There are many parts for specific configurations that are not listed here. If you require
CD-3 Section Mast Components not listed here please contact us with details. Please
note: As principal dimensions of the Spartan Spar CD-3 Section are equivalent to
those of Kenyon Spar's E-Section, all Kenyon
E-Section Mast Components will also fit the CD-3 Mast Section.

CD-3 Masthead: SP-050A (aluminum sheaves):
CD-3 Masthead: SP-050P (plastic sheaves):
Heavy-duty cast aluminum masthead assembly with 4 sheaves is designed to allow use of
external OR internal halyards. Includes SS toggles for headstay and backstay with
5/16" pins and a topping lift attachment pin. Standard with integral spinnaker bail.
Cast in 356 Aluminum with a black epoxy finish. |

CD-3 Fractional Masthead: SP-051A:
Cleanly designed cast aluminum Masthead Assembly for use with Fractional
Rigs. Features extended backstay crane and single aluminum sheave for Internal Main
Halyard. Includes 5/16" Clevis Pin for backstay and 1/4" Clevis Pin for topping
lift attachment. Cast in 356 Aluminum with a clear anodized finish. |

Shroud Tang for 1/4" Pin: SP-209:
SS Shroud Tang mounts on a 3/8" bolt, for use with a Shroud up to 5/32" diameter
using standard Aircraft Fork. Tang is 1" wide x 3 3/4" long x .070" with
(1) 3/8" mounting hole and (1) 1/4" Pin Hole. Hole centers are 2 3/4"
apart. Used in a wide variety of Upper and Lower Shroud applications. |

Shroud Tang for 5/16" Pin: SP-202:
SS Shroud Tang mounts on a 3/8" bolt, for use with a Shroud up to 3/16" diameter
using standard Aircraft Fork. Tang is 1" wide x 3 3/4" long x .120" with
(1) 3/8" mounting hole and (1) 5/16" Pin Hole. Hole centers are 2 3/4"
apart. Used in a wide variety of Upper and Lower Shroud applications. |

CD-3 Bow/Foredeck Light Assembly: SP-055:
Combination Bow (Steaming) and Foredeck light, in cast aluminum housing fits forward side
of CD-3 mast section. Foredeck light, SP-E265, is on bottom
angled forward, and 20 point Bow light, SP-E964, is mounted on
top. Assembly attaches to mast with (1) 1/4-20 x 3 1/2" FH screw (included). |

Bow Light (round): SP-E964:
SS Bow Light shines forward 20 points, and is used on Spartan Combination Bow/Foredeck
Light Assembly. Round base is 2 3/8" diameter and fastens with (3) #6 screws.
Requires 3/4" hole for socket. Replacement Bulb: 12-volt, GE # 90. |

Foredeck Light (round): SP-E265:
Chrome plated Bronze Foredeck Light on plastic base illuminates the deck, and is used on
Spartan Combination Bow/Foredeck Light Assembly. Round base is 2 3/4" diameter and
fastens with (2) #8 or #6 screws on 1 1/2" hole centers. Replacement Bulb:
12-volt, GE # 70. |

CD-3 Spreader Base - Triangular: SP-056:
Triangular Cast aluminum Spreader Base fits flush with the mast surface and attaches with
(3) #10 FH machine screws and a 3/8" bolt. Unique and sleek design allows for use of
the same 3/8" bolt as an attachment point for a lower shroud tang, SP-203.
Cast in 356 Aluminum with a clear anodized finish. For use with 1" OD Spreaders, SP-057.

CD-3 Spreader Base - Square: SP-056X:
Older style, Square Cast aluminum Spreader Base fits flush with the mast surface and
attaches with (4) #10 RH machine screws and a 3/8" bolt. Unique and sleek design
allows for use of the same 3/8" bolt as an attachment point for a lower shroud tang, SP-203.
Cast in 356 Aluminum with a clear anodized finish. For use with 1" OD Spreaders, SP-057.

CD-3 Spreader Base Set - 20 degree aft: SP-126:
SS Spreader Base assembly is the thru-bar type and attaches to the mast with (4) 1/4"
RH screws. Design handles compressive loads and requires a 1/2" hole in the mast.
Ideally suited for swept back spreaders on a mizzen mast. For use with 1" OD
Spreaders, SP-057. As used on Cape Dory Typhoon Senior. |

Standard Spartan SP-057 Round Spreader is 1" OD x 7/8" ID x 30" long and
has Aluminum Tip, SP-057T, with hole for seizing wire
(included). Clear anodized 1" Standard Spreader Assembly is (maximum) 30 5/8" long. |

1" OD Spreader Assembly - Special: SP-057A-___:
Spartan SP-057 Spreader is 1" OD x 7/8" ID and has Aluminum Tip, SP-057T,
with slot for upper shroud, and hole for seizing wire (included). Finished spreaders are
available in any length, standard finish is clear anodized, specify color if painted
finish is required. To order: specify maximum length from inboard tube
end to shroud bearing surface, and finish. |

1" OD Round Spreader Tip: SP-057T:
Aluminum Spreader Tip for 1" OD x 7/8" ID Spreader features slot for up
to 3/16" diameter shroud. Lightweight, compact version replaces earlier Cast style
and features cross-hole for seizing wire. New-style turned Tip extends shroud seat 5/16"
beyond spreader tube, unit projects 5/8" (maximum) beyond spreader tube and is carefully rounded
to reduce sail chafe. |

Double Shroud Tang for 1/4" Pins: SP-203:
SS Double Shroud Tang mounts on a 3/8" bolt, for use with 2 Shrouds up to 5/32"
diameter using standard Aircraft Forks. Tang is 1" wide (at top) x 1 7/8" wide
(at bottom) x 4 1/4" long x .120" with (1) 3/8" mounting hole and (2)
1/4" Pin Holes. Pin Hole centers are 3 3/16" (vertical) from mounting hole and
are 1 1/16" (horizontal) apart. Used as Lower Shroud Tang with SP-302,
SP-056 and SP-457 Spreader Bases, and in a variety
of other applications. Identical to Sch 85-54X. |

Sail Slide Stop: SP-11000:
Versatile Stop slides in mast track and locks in place with SS thumbscrew. Used above the
sail entrance to keep sail slides in the mast, and below a sliding gooseneck to limit boom
travel. Aluminum Slide Stop is 7/16" diameter x 1" long with SS thumb screw,
thumb screw features captive nylon washer to prevent damage to mast surface. 11198 |

CD-3 Gooseneck Bracket: SP-11206:
SS Gooseneck Plate assembly is designed for use with the standard Spartan 1" SS
toggle, and includes 1/4" vertical pin. Attaches to mast with (6) # 10 RH screws.
Often used to replace the gooseneck slide by those who prefer a fixed boom. Please NOTE: A
variety of SS Gooseneck and Vang Brackets are available to fit the CD-3 mast section and
accommodate different Toggle configurations. Please specify. |

CD-3 Winch Pad: SP-064:
Cast Aluminum Winch Pad is 4" diameter, and contoured to fit on centerline of CD-3
section. Pad insulates winch from spar wall and properly seats it for mounting. Pad is
attached to mast with (1) 1/4" FH machine screw, holes for screws to mount winch are
then drilled through pad and tapped in mast wall. Cast in 356 Aluminum with a black epoxy finish. |

Vang Bail, Long - 3/8" x 2 3/4" wide: K-2223L:
Forged Long SS Mast/Boom Bail made from 3/8" rod is designed to be attached with (1)
3/8" SS bolt and nut. Formed at 2 3/4" wide, width can be varied to fit larger
or smaller sections. Bail length, from bolt center, is 5 3/4". For use with CD-3 mast. |

Vang Bail Bolt Assembly - 3/8" for CD-3: K-2223BA:
Vang Bail bolt assembly includes 3/8" SS bolt x 3 3/4", with locknut, and nylon
washers to prevent bail from damaging mast surface as it pivots. For use with K-2223
Bails on CD-3 mast. |

Electrical Access Plate: RR-72-99:
Electrical Access Plate is designed to allow access to internal electrical plugs above the
mast step, without having to unstep the mast. Saves much in frustration and money by
allowing you to check mast wiring connections with the mast up. SS Plate is 4 1/2" x
2" and is designed to cover a 3" x 1 1/4" vertical slot in the side of the
mast, just above the top of the mast step. Plate is slightly curved to fit a variety of
mast sections and attaches with (4) 1/4-20 RH machine screws (included). |

Mast Step for CD-3 Section fastens to deck, or keelson with (2) 5/16" bolts, or to
K-1374
Mast Hinge Assembly for use as tabernacle. Two (2) 5/16" mounting
holes are offset on 2 1/8" centers. Base size is slightly larger than CD-3 mast
section. Cast in 356 Aluminum with black epoxy finish. |

CD-3 Mast Step Casting - Raw: SP-617R:
Plain undrilled Mast Step for CD-3 Section with raw aluminum finish.
Base size is slightly larger than CD-3 mast section. Cast in 356 Aluminum.
As SP-617M, above, but uncoated with no mounting holes drilled. |

CD-3 Hinged Mast Step Assembly: SP-067:
Heavy SS Hinged Tabernacle Assembly for CD3-Section allows easy mast stepping. Consists of
SP-617M Mast Step casting bolted
K-1374
Mast Hinge Assembly. Lower channel bolts to the deck with
(4) 5/16" bolts. Upper channel is attached to Mast Step casting and hinges forward or
aft on (2) 3/8" pins. Includes compression Spacer Nuts to handle greater rigging
loads. Base is 6 1/2" x 4". |

CD-3 Special Hinged Mast Step Ass'y for CD-25: SP-067-CD25:
Special Heavy SS Hinged Tabernacle Assembly for CD3-Section. As SP-067, above,
but with mounting and electrical holes specially machined to match spacing of Original Schaefer Spars cast
Aluminum Hinged Tabernacle Assembly used on early Cape Dory 25's.
Attaches to deck with (4) 1/4" bolts, and to mast with (5) 1/4" screws. |

Halyard Organizer Plate: K-1374HP:
Halyard Organizer Plate is designed to fit under the
K-1374 Mast Hinge Assembly, using the same deck bolts. Formed SS Plate has a total
of ten (10) 1/2" holes on 4 sides for attaching halyard turning blocks, boom vang, and halyard shackles.
Base is 7 1/2" long x 4" wide and mounts with (4) 5/16" bolts on 4 5/16" x 2 3/4" hole centers.
Plate measures 8 1/2" x 5 3/4" overall and can also be drilled for use with any mast step casting up to 4" wide. |
