| SP-165 Tapered Spreader Assembly: SP-165TA-____: Spartan SP-165 Spreaders are normally tapered, and use a special welded aluminum 'twist-lock' spreader tip, which captures the shroud without using seizing wire. Other Tips are available. Standard finish is clear anodized, specify color if painted finish is required. Standard Lengths are 3' 9 1/4" and 4' 4", but finished spreaders are available in any length. To order: Specify maximum length from inboard end to shroud bearing surface, spreader base configuration, and finish.

| SP-165 Tapered Spreader Tip: SP-165TL: Special 'twist-lock' spreader tip for spreader tapered to 2 3/4" features slot for up to 3/8" shroud. Shroud is secured without seizing wire, by inserting it horizontally into Spreader Tip and then 'twisting' it to lie in line with the mast. Tip measures 2 3/4" x 1", and extends shroud seat 1/2" beyond spreader tube. Cast aluminum Spreader Tip has uncoated Aluminum finish for use in welded applications.

| SP-165 Inboard Spreader End - Special, Large: K-11480-5SL: Inboard Spreader End is used for masts with SS Spreader Brackets or welded aluminum spreader bases. Aluminum spreader end is welded in a slot cut in SP-165 Spreader. Tapered Aluminum plate is 3/8" thick x (maximum) 7 1/4" wide x 5" long, and features integral etch lines to line up with end of SP-165 Spreader. Mounts to mast with (2) 1/2" holes on 5 3/4" centers, holes are 3/4" from end of plate. Plate has uncoated Aluminum finish. SoundSpar

| SS Spreader Base w/ 1/2" Pin, Port Aft: SS 8755SBS-PA: SS Spreader Base w/ 1/2" Pin, Starboard Aft: SS 8755SBS-SA: Stainless Steel Spreader Bases used on Sound Spar 8755, and other Mast Sections, with SP-165 and other Spreaders using the K-11480-5SL Inboard Spreader End, above. SS Base is 3" square and attaches to Mast with (4) 1/4" RH screws, Spreader Inboard End is attached to Base with a 1/2" clevis pin (included). Bases are used in pairs, with a Port Aft and a Starboard Aft version on each side of the Mast. (Port Aft = Starboard Forward, Starboard Aft = Port Forward). As used on Pearson 36, 424, and others.
