Rounded T-Ball Backing Plates

Internally mounted Backing Plate Tangs for use only with Gibb & Norseman 'Rounded' T-Ball Shroud fittings. Backing Plate is easy to install, requiring only a round hole (not a slot) in the Mast. Backing Plates are designed to fit through mounting hole and are then riveted from the outside. Used for Larger shrouds (7/32", 6mm and up), these fittings are stronger and provide greater articulation than the standard T-Ball. See also: Gibb T-Ball Backing Plate Tangs (Standard).

Stainless Steel Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball Backing Plates for use with Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball swage and Norseman fittings. Rubber plugs, GIB-842, are available to keep 'Rounded' T-Balls from moving when not under load. See Rubber Retaining Plugs, below.
T-Ball Backing Plate for 7/32", 1/4", & 6mm wire: GIB 840-M06: SS T-Ball Backing Plate Tang for 7/32" and 1/4" (or 6mm) wire using Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball swage fittings, GIB 841. Mounting requires a 1 3/16" hole in the Mast, unit is attached using (3) 3/16" (5mm) rivets. Formed Plate is 3 3/4" long x 1 3/16" wide, and is contoured for use with most Mast Sections.

Rubber Retaining Plugs for Gibb 'Rounded' T-Balls
Rubber Retaining Plugs for use with Gibb 'Rounded' T-Ball Shroud fittings. Rubber plugs keep 'Rounded' T-Balls from moving and disengaging when not under load. For replacement Plugs, measure wire size or take number from existing Plug.
