Isomat Vang Brackets

A variety of Vang Brackets are used on Isomat Masts, depending on the size of the Mast Section and the type of Vang. Standard sizes for use with Isomat Isovangs are available, we also manufacture a range of Toggles for use with Vangs from other manufacturers. All Toggles and other components are available separately and are listed below. To select an appropriate Vang Bracket Assembly, or Toggle to fit an existing Bracket, first determine which Mast Section you have, and, for a Hard Vang, the Pin size. Vang Brackets for Booms are specific to the Boom Section, See: Isomat Boom Sections. NG-1 Vang Brackets are used with NG-28 through NG-51 Mast Sections. NG-1 Vang Brackets and Fittings NG-1 Vang Brackets are used with NG-28 through NG-51 Mast Sections. For Hard (solid) Vangs select a Bracket Assembly or Toggle with the same Pin Size as the Vang being used. For Soft (block and tackle) Vangs use the Assembly or Toggle with the Slot (**NG1-16A or NG1-16), as it will accommodate most any shackle. NG1 Vang Bracket Assembly w/ Toggle for Rope Vang: NG1-16A:
Complete NG1 Vang Bracket Assembly has Toggle with Slot for attachment of Rope (soft) Vang. Assembly consists of Vang Bracket (NG1-11), Vang Toggle Pin (NB1-1), and NG1-16 Vang Toggle with 3/8" x 7/8" (10mm x 22mm) Slot. Assembly is fastened to Mast with four (4) 1/4" (6mm) rivets or screws. Toggle can be replaced with any listed below for later conversion to a Hard (solid) Vang.

Assembly consists of Vang Bracket NG1-11, Vang Toggle Pin NB1-1, and NG1-17 Vang Toggle with 10mm (3/8") hole. Assembly is fastened to Mast with four (4) 1/4" (6mm) rivets or screws. For use with the NG1 Isovang.

*NG1 Vang Bracket Ass'y w/ Toggle for 9/16" Pin: NG1-18-9A:* As NG1-17A, above, but with NG1-18-9D Vang Toggle with 14mm (9/16"), and 8mm (5/16") holes. Special for use with Sparcraft Pneuvang.
*NG1 Vang Bracket Ass'y w/ Toggle for 5/8" Pin: NG1-18-10A:* As NG1-17A, above, but with NG1-18-10 Vang Toggle with 5/8" (16mm) hole.
*NG1 Vang Bracket Ass'y w/ Toggle for 7/8" (22mm) Pin: NG1-19A:*
As NG1-17A, above, but with NG1-19 Vang Toggle with 22mm (7/8") hole. For use with the NG2 Isovang. Also recommended for use with Soft (block and tackle) Vangs, as the large hole will accommodate any shackle.
*NG1 Vang Bracket Assembly w/o Toggle: NG1-11A:* NG1 Vang Bracket Assembly with 12mm (7/16") vertical Pin. Assembly consists of Vang Bracket NG1-11, and 12mm Vang Toggle Pin NB1-1. Assembly is fastened to Mast with four (4) 1/4" (6mm) rivets or screws. A variety of Toggles are listed separately, below.
	NG-1 Vang Bracket: NG1-11: Cast aluminum Vang Bracket fits NG-28 through NG-51 Mast Sections. Bracket is 3 7/8" (98mm) high x 2 3/4" (70mm) wide, and is fastened with four (4) 1/4" (6mm) rivets. Bracket has holes for 12mm (7/16") Vertical Vang Toggle Pin NB1-1, and any of the NG1 Vang Toggles listed below.
	NG-1 Vang Toggle Pin: NB1-1: SS Clevis pin is 12mm (7/16") diameter with a 85mm (3 3/8") grip length, and has 8mm (5/16") hole for Cotter Ring or Block attachment. Fits vertically in NG1-11 Vang Bracket.

NG-1 Vang Toggles A variety of Vang Toggles for use with the NG1-11 Bracket are listed below.

*NG1 SS Vang Toggle w/ Slot for Rope Vang: NG1-16:* SS Welded Vang Toggle with Slot for attachment of Block or Shackle fits *NG1-11* Vang Bracket. SS tube is 1 15/16" (50mm) long and is drilled for 12mm Vertical Pin, *NB1-1.* Welded SS Tab has Slot (3/8" x 7/8") suitable for attachment of most any shackle. Heavy-duty Tab is 7mm (.280") thick and projects 2" (50mm) out from tube.
*NG1 SS Vang Toggle w/ 3/8" hole: NG1-17:* SS Welded Vang Toggle Fits NG1-11 Vang Bracket. SS tube is 1 15/16" (50mm) long and is drilled for 12mm or 1/2" Vertical Pin. Welded SS Tab is 5.5mm (7/32") thick and projects 2 1/2" (65mm) out from tube. Tab has 10mm (3/8") hole for attachment of Vang. For use with the NG1 Isovang.
*NG1 SS Vang Toggle w/ 1/2" hole: NG1-18-8:* SS Welded Vang Toggle Fits NG1-11 Vang Bracket. SS tube is 1 15/16" (50mm) long and is drilled for 12mm or 1/2" Vertical Pin. Welded SS Tab is 5.5mm (7/32") thick and projects 2 1/2" (65mm) out from tube. Tab has 1/2" (12mm) hole for attachment of Vang.
*NG1 SS Vang Toggle w/ 9/16" & 5/16" holes: NG1-18-9D:* SS Welded Vang Toggle Fits NG1-11 Vang Bracket. SS tube is 1 15/16" (50mm) long and is drilled for 12mm or 1/2" Vertical Pin. Welded SS Tab is 5mm (3/16") thick and projects 2 3/8" (60mm) out from tube. Tab has 14mm (9/16") hole for attachment of Vang and 8mm (5/16") hole for attachment of Vang Tackle. Special for use with Sparcraft Pneuvang. As used on Catalina 320.

Welded SS Tab is 5.5mm (7/32") thick and projects 2 1/2" (65mm) out from tube. Tab has 7/8" (22mm) hole for attachment of Vang. For use with the NG2 Isovang. Also recommended for use with Soft (block and tackle) Vangs.

Assembly consists of Vang Bracket NG2-12-8, Vang Toggle Pin Assembly NG2-14-8FA, and NG2-16F Vang Toggle with 1/2" hole. Assembly is fastened to Mast with eight (8) 1/4" (6mm) rivets or screws.

For use with the NG2 Isovang. Also recommended for use with Soft (block and tackle) Vangs.
NG-2 Vang Bracket: NG2-12: Cast aluminum Vang Bracket fits NG-51 through NG-86 Mast Sections. Bracket is 4 3/4" (120mm) high x 3 1/2" (90mm) wide, and is fastened with eight (8) 1/4" (6mm) rivets. Bracket has 22mm (7/8") hole at top and 14mm (9/16") hole on bottom side, for use with the NG2-14A Vertical Vang Toggle Pin Assembly, and any of the NG2 Vang Toggles listed below.
NG-2 Vang Toggle Pin Assembly: NG2-14A: Assembly converts NG-2 Vang Bracket, NG2-12, for use with any of the NG2 Vang Toggles listed below. Includes Vang Toggle Pin NG2-14, Vang Bushing NG2-13, and SS Cotter Ring.
	NG-2 Vang Toggle Pin: NG2-14: SS Clevis Pin is 14mm (9/16") diameter with a 125mm (5") grip length, and has 8mm (5/16") hole for Cotter Ring or Block attachment. Fits vertically in NG2-12 Vang Bracket.
	NG-2 Vang Bushing: NG2-13: SS Bushing is used in upper hole of NG2-12 Vang Bracket to adapt it for use with Vang Toggle Pin NG2-14. Bushing is 22mm (7/8") OD x 14mm (9/16") ID x 16mm (5/8") long.
