NG1 Isovang

The NG1 Isovang is a spring-loaded solid Vang designed for smaller boats, generally less than 33' (10m), and attaches to a Mast-mounted Vang Toggle and to the Boom Vang Attachment Lug with a 10mm (3/8") pin (included). Isovangs include attachment pins and line, Mast and Boom attachment fittings are specific to particular Mast and Boom Sections and must be ordered separately. NG1 Isovangs have a 15 3/4" stroke length, end fittings are designed to fit over 1/4" (6mm) wide attachment tabs. Vang should be installed at its shortest (uncompressed) length with the boom in its lowest normal sailing position.

NG1 Isovangs The NG1 Isovang is available in 2 standard lengths, other lengths have been produced as specials. 37,48 57,68 *NG1 Isovang – Short: NGV1-S:* The standard Short NG1 Isovang measures 3' 3 1/4" long (minimum-fully compressed) and 4' 7" long uncompressed. Complete with 10mm (3/8") attachment pins and line. *NG1 Isovang – Long: NGV1-L:* The standard Long NG1 Isovang measures 5' 3" long (minimum-fully compressed) and 6' 6 3/4" long uncompressed. Complete with 10mm (3/8") attachment pins and line.

NG1 Isovang - Parts The NG1 Isovang is identified by the following Primary Measurements: Inner Tube diameter: 33.6mm (1 5/16") OD Outer Tube diameter: 45mm (1 3/4") OD Sheave size: 50mm (2") OD x 10mm (3/8") ID Components in all lengths of the NG1 Isovang are identical, with the exception of the tubes and liner.

NG1 Isovang – Small End Fitting Complete: NGV1-1A: NG1 Isovang End fitting for the smaller, inner (33.6mm (1 5/16") OD) NG1 Isovang tube. Includes 2 sheaves, sheave axle pin and 10mm (3/8") Clevis pin for attachment to the Mast or Boom fitting.
	NG1 Isovang – Small End Casting Only: NGV1-1: As NGV1-1A, above, but the Casting only, without Sheaves or Pins.
NG1 Isovang – Large End Fitting Complete: NGV1-2A: NG1 Isovang End fitting for the larger, outer (45mm (1 3/4") OD) NG1 Isovang tube. Includes 2 sheaves, sheave axle pin and 10mm (3/8") Clevis pin for attachment to the Mast or Boom fitting.
	NG1 Isovang – Large End Casting Only: NGV1-2: As NGV1-2A, above, but the Casting only, without Sheaves or Pins.
	NG1 Isovang Sheave: NG1-3: Acetyl Sheave is 50mm (2") OD x 14.5mm (9/16") wide x 10mm (3/8") ID.
	NG1 Isovang Axle Pin: NGV1-4: SS Clevis Pin for Sheave Axle is 10mm (3/8") diameter x 45mm (1 3/4") long.
	NG1 Isovang Attachment Pin: NGV1-5: SS Clevis Pin for Mast or Boom attachment is 10mm (3/8") diameter x 31.5mm (1 1/4") long. Pin fits in Isovang End Casting for attachment of Mast or Boom Tab with 10mm (3/8") hole.
NG1 Isovang Spring: NGV1-6: Heavy-Duty steel Spring for NG1 Isovang is 1 1/8" OD x 43 1/2" long (uncompressed).
NG1 Isovang - Short, Inner Tube - 800mm: NGV1-7S: NG1 Isovang - Long, Inner Tube - 1300mm: NGV1-7L: Anodized aluminum Inner (small) tube for NG1 Isovang is 33.6mm (1 5/16") OD. Available at 2' 7" (800mm), or 4' 4" (1300mm) long.
NG1 Isovang - Short, Tube Liner - 750mm: NGV1-8S: NG1 Isovang - Long, Tube Liner - 1250mm: NGV1-8L: Plastic Tube Liner for NG1 Isovang goes between the inner and outer tubes to prevent any contact or abrasion between them. Available at 2' 5" (750mm), or 4' 2" (1250mm) long.
NG1 Isovang - Short, Outer Tube - 800mm: NGV1-9S: NG1 Isovang - Long, Outer Tube - 1300mm: NGV1-9L: Anodized aluminum Outer (large) tube for NG1 Isovang is 45mm (1 3/4") OD. Available at 2' 7" (800mm), or 4' 4" (1300mm) long.
