Isovangs

Isomat's Isovang is a tubular Hard (solid) Vang with integral sheaves and line that is Spring cushioned for Boom support. For recommendations on a New Isovang for your boat, contact us with Boat details including current Mast and Boom Sections.

Isovang Parts: Isomat has produced the Isovang in two (2) different sizes. Both sizes have been produced in a variety of lengths. Sizes are easily differentiated by tube diameter, or by the diameter of the integral sheaves. Should you need parts for an existing Isovang, you'll need to measure one of these items and determine which size Isovang you have. NG1 Isovang:
The NG1 Isovang is designed for smaller boats, generally less than 33' (10m), and attaches to the mast-mounted Vang Toggle and to the Boom Vang Attachment Lug with a 10mm (3/8") pin (included).
Outer Tube diameter: 45mm (1 3/4") OD
Inner Tube diameter: 33.6mm (1 5/16") OD
Sheave size: 50mm (2") OD x 10mm (3/8") ID

NG2 Isovang:
The NG2 Isovang is designed for larger boats, generally longer than 30' (9m), and attaches to the mast-mounted Vang Toggle and to the Boom Vang Attachment Lug with a 22mm (7/8") pin (included).
Outer Tube diameter: 70mm (2 3/4") OD
Inner Tube diameter: 58mm (2 1/4") OD
Sheave size: 85mm (3 3/8") OD x 22mm (7/8") ID
