Wilcox-Crittenden
(Marinium) Winches
Easily identifiable by either the W/C logo or the word "Marinium" stamped into
them, and as the only Aluminum Winches using a Flat, Slide-in Handle, Wilcox-Crittenden
Winches have been out of production for over 30 years. Marinium was their
trade name for a proprietary Aluminum alloy. Wilcox-Crittenden has been in and out of
business several times, and no longer produce or service Winches. The only part Rig-Rite
stocks for Wilcox-Crittenden Winches are Handles for their Marinium (Aluminum) #1 Sheet
Winch. These Winches were common on East Coast production boats of the 1970's, notably
Bristol, O'Day, Pearson, and Sea-Sprite.
