| Cleats are used to tie off a line (halyards, reef lines,
sheets, etc.), wherever needed. Coaming Cleats are similar to
Spar Cleats (with a narrow profile)
but designed to be mounted directly to the Coaming boards, using Horizontal fasteners, so as
to protrude above the Coaming, generally for use with Jib sheets.
If you require Coaming Cleats not listed, please forward a sketch or photo of your
Cleat with measurements, hole spacing (to centers), full details of the part, boat model
and year. As always, we can do anything on a custom basis. See also:

| Cast Bronze Coaming Cleat Assembly with Backing Plate and Bronze screws
is suitable for mounting on Coamings up to 3/4" thick, longer screws can be substituted for thicker
Coaming boards. Narrow profile design suitable for use with line up to 7/16" diameter. Cast Bronze
Cleat is 5" long, and fastens to Coaming with (2) 1/4-20 FH screws on 2 1/8" centers.
Backing Plate (inside coaming) is counter sunk for FH screws, Cleat itself (outside coaming) is
threaded - no nuts required. Cleat and Backing Plate are available separately. As used on Allied,
Cape Dory, Sea Sprite 23, and other Traditional, and Alberg designs.
